Love the cover, like the previous book (The Marked Son book 1)i will give a 5 out of 5 stars for the cover and content also. What i love about this book is that is so original, from the supernatural powers to the plot of the book.
This is the second book from the series, and yes it does connects with the previous, to understand this one read the first one (it's worth it). In this book Dylan and Kera try to get used with their new powers and learn how to deal with them. Their big challenge is not letting the powers change them in any way, or hurt any more people around them. Dylan finally starts or tries to trust his grandpa helping him control his power, but in the same time he loses trust in Kera and he does not like doubting her.
Kera tries to help Dylan by hiding some things from him thinking that will keep him alive and away from trouble, but in the end she realize she can not deal with them alone or she will love Dylan.
The book is full of adventure, love and surprises, rarely you find a book with all of this combined and it flows, is just amazing book, don't take my word for it, reall of the others amazing reviews and the stars.
