I have been seeing people talking about this series for a long time, and honestly sometimes that makes me scared to start reading it (because for some reason the hipped books do not really attract me, but sometimes i fall in love with them). However the reason that i am giving the book only 4 stars is because of the ending (and is actually a 4.5 stars) made me want to hate/love/pick up the second book right away ( which proves is a great book).
Karou is a normal art student until you start learning more about her adoptive family (if you can call them that). She is very curious but also very strong (stupid at some points i believe she just runs in trouble knowing she is overpowered). However i love her she goes through so much but always finds a way to "get back up" and keep fighting for the ones she loves, especially her family.
The plot runs around Karou and the world she comes from, including to fight for someone that everyone and everything tries to keep them apart. This book has adventure and a little bit of each worlds we learned by now, like magic, angels , demons and something so much important then that. Also is a fast reading book and will keep you on your toes wanting to go inside the book and fight on the side of certain characters.
