Mettle by J.C. Valentine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What a book, I said it before and I will say it again J.C. Valentine is an amazing writer, she is the only author that makes me read this type of genre ( not really for me ). The only reason I do not give a 5 stars is because unfortunately I had to skip at some points a page or paragraph ( a little to much details for me).
Although this is the second book in the series , you can read it as a stand alone (lots of her books are like that)if you do not mind getting more of the back story towards the end. Tucker is the VP of the Spartan's (biker club) and does not want to be 'controlled' emotionally by any women. Talia is here for just a job (or is it more) that has been keeping her busy for months (but is she on the right lead?!). However Talia and Tucker appear to have the same enemy Cruiz (the president of the other biker club, and someone that really wants Blake and Gabby to pay) without even knowing they start fallowing the same leads. Also we will have some more of Blake and Tucker famous 'interactions' that will make you laugh and love them even more (if that is even possible)
Two people that said no to love because of a bad past find each other and do whatever possible to keep each other safe but will deny everything until they have to take a decision.
