My Review for "The 5th Wave" book 1

The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave, #1)The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After reading this book my emotions are in waves , at some point wanted to get inside the book and shake Cassy (not short from Cassidy). Had to read the book after I saw the trailer i knew i wanted to see the movie , so of course i have to read the book before. Therefore the book is amazing but not love it that much to give it 5 stars , I give a 4.5 .

Cassy is one of the main characters but of some moments she is worse then a child, but is understandable she is only 16 she can not think like an adult and take good decisions by using some of the 'people' when the opportunity comes. However the character grows little by little , slowly but surely she realizes what she has to do and how. All the adventures she goes thru opens her eyes, and learning more and more about the 5th wave and the army base she wants to get to with all cost.

A little confusing and annoying at the beginning is all the changing of the point of view, but after few more chapters you get used with it and understand why the author does that. Also at some point i was thinking i am going to go into the book and give a lecture to all this important characters and wake up. In the end i enjoyed reading this book.
