This is the second series (book) i have read through it without any sleep and pick up the next one right after i finish this particular one. I am not a big fan of alien books (but this book i just love) but this particular book is just amazing, very well written and with a plot that builds up with every chapter.
OH Before you read this review please understand that no 'Bad' though is aloud toward my HUSBAND Daemon, we got married when Katie kept pushing him away. :)))
The whole plot runs around Kate and Daemon which one is a human and one a Luxen (or better known as an alien ) that have to manage their life around each other even if they are 'forbidden' to be happy. Luxen are the light ones and Aerum are the shadow aliens that have been at war for thousand of years which will change Kate and Daemon's life forever. Even though at the beginning everything looks to be against them but after is no more secrets between them both their life's will be alternated by one of the smallest (but very important for Luxen) act Deamon will do for Kate.
Take my word for it, if you love alien books or even The 5th Wave you will truly enjoy every page,chapter and minute of it. For about 16 hours non stop I lived and breath this book and literally not putting it down for more then few minutes.
